Responsibilities: Partner with field SEs to understand customer requirements and objectives, and provide technical expertise and guidance in designing security management solutions using our Security Operations products. Assist in the creation of technical proposals, solution designs, and presentations that address customer needs and differentiate our offerings from competitors. Conduct product demonstrations and proof-of-concept (POC) exercises for prospective clients, showcasing the capabilities and features of our Security Operations products. Collaborate with internal teams, including product management and engineering, to stay updated on product roadmap, features, and enhancements, and provide feedback based on customer interactions. Develop and maintain technical collateral, such as whitepapers, case studies, and solution guides, to support sales and marketing efforts. Document technical solutions, configurations, best practices, and lessons learned to create comprehensive and easily accessible documentation for internal and external stakeholders, using modern tools like Markdown/Sphinx. Design and deliver workshops and training sessions for both internal teams and clients, including creating PowerPoint presentations, hands-on labs, and other interactive materials. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in security operations and management, and share knowledge and insights with the sales team and SEs. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. Advanced degree preferred. Experience in a technical consulting or pre-sales engineering role, with a focus on security operations and management. Deep understanding of TCP/IP fundamentals, with the ability to navigate network protocols and configurations effortlessly. Mastery of standard networking and security concepts SD-WAN, and Zero-Trust architecture. Proficient in API utilization and DevOps methodologies, leveraging tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Python to automate and streamline processes. Hands-on experience with Security Operations products such as FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, FortiPortal, and FortiCloud. Masterful communicator with the ability to turn complex technical concepts into captivating narratives. Thrive in a fast-paced environment where collaboration and innovation are the name of the game. Possess an insatiable curiosity and hunger for knowledge in the ever-evolving landscape of cybersecurity.
