Job Description

The Consumer Research Manager is responsible for working closely with the marketing teams to ensure we achieve these goals through a consumer-centric, evidence-based approach to brand building. Sitting as part of our Market & Consumer Insights team with the UK Marketing function, the Consumer Research Manager is responsible for delivering against our adhoc research needs. Central to this is close collaboration with our Marketing teams and the wider business to understand critical knowledge gaps and identify appropriate research solutions to deliver against these needs. Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with Marketing to build Research Plans against key objectives Write Briefs, gather proposals and select agencies to proceed with Ensure delivery of projects is clear, meets business objectives and implications are understood Drive Consumer-centricity across the JDE business Act as a critical thought-partner to the Marketing team and wider business Own our Mental Availability Tracking, including reporting to marketing teams and leadership Ensure the business is up to date on latest Macro and Consumer trends Manage our Mystery Shopping programme Qualifications

Education Bachelors / Masters Degree or equivalent Experience Should have / demonstrate: A Passion for Consumer and Shopper Behaviour Be a strategic & innovative thinker Strong analytical and story-telling skills Strong communication skills: able to confidently engage with a broad set of stakeholders & lead external agency partners Confidence to present in front of large audiences Collaborates well across teams Significant relevant experience in relevant scale marketing business – FMCG Marketing or Research Agency Experience delivering projects across a wide variety of research methodologies (qual and quant) with a breadth of agencies Additional Information
