Principal Contaminated Land Consultant - Environment - Permanent - Croydon. Mott MacDonald's Environment Division has an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced contaminated land specialist to join its team in Croydon as a principal consultant/team leader.
You will take charge of a small team, acting as technical lead and project manager on a range of contaminated land projects in the UK and abroad. This position will present you with excellent opportunities to engage in project work overseas, so you will ideally have the flexibility to handle such commitments.
Your role will be very much client-facing, so confidence in interfacing with clients on both project delivery and business development matters is essential, as is proficiency in the preparation of bids and proposals. You will also mentor more junior staff and assist in their professional development, giving you great potential to develop your management skills.
Minimum Requirements:
Relevant academic/professional qualifications, to include Chartership in either geology, chemistry, engineering or environmental sciences Substantial UK contaminated land experience in a professional consultancy environment Strong commercial awareness Full driving licence
