This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate to support the needs of the organisation through content and copywriting for the website, social channels, and general press. OVERVIEW Based in our Bolton office, the Content and Copywriter will be responsible for the creation and publishing of all content to support our social channels, website, and wider press releases. Working with the wider marketing department, consisting of the Marketing Manager, Graphic Designer, Videographer, Illustrator, and SEO specialist; this position will be critical to the creation of content and the department's success in achieving targets and project creation on a tight timeline. Key Responsibilities: Assisting with developing the awareness of the company and the brand by creating content writing as part of a wider campaign. Creating blogs, articles, and content writing to support the campaigns in line with the current marketing strategy. Maintaining relationships with media vendors and publishers to ensure strong collaboration in promotional activities. Writing and proofreading marketing copy for both online and print campaigns to support the wider aims of the campaigns. Working closely with the current marketing department to ensure all works are completed to standard and on time, with a main focus on growing the output of the marketing department. Requirements: Hold a qualification relevant to writing – Journalism, Content Writing, English Literature, etc. Be creatively focused with strong knowledge of effective marketing techniques and concepts. Be organised and proactive, with an ability to meet strict timelines effectively while working under pressure. Be fully computer literate with a strong understanding of web technology. Be adaptable and amenable with a natural ability to prioritise workload. A candidate who can work cooperatively and effectively with the wider department to enhance organisational effectiveness.
