Are you ready to showcase your writing talent with some of the world's most iconic motor brands? Lookers is seeking a talented Content Executive to join our marketing team in Team Valley. As a leading UK automotive retailer, you'll work with over 30 top vehicle manufacturers, gaining valuable industry experience and reporting to the Content Team Leader.

As a Content Executive, you'll play a key role in enhancing brand visibility, captivating our target audiences, and accelerating our marketing drive with your creativity and teamwork. You'll create high-quality, impactful written and visual content for Lookers Group and our Manufacturer brands across multiple channels.

Responsibilities Research, write, and edit engaging content for Lookers Group and Manufacturer brands, consistent with brand guidelines, tone of voice, style guides, and legal requirements. Develop effective email marketing campaigns, creating engaging content that drives customer engagement, promotes sales, and builds brand loyalty. Produce engaging web content like landing pages, blog posts, and product descriptions to enhance user experience, in partnership with the Digital Marketing Team. Create compelling content for direct mail campaigns and printed materials, coordinating with printers to ensure timely delivery and accurate distribution. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, videographers, and editors to ensure high-quality, engaging video content. Develop and implement organic social media content strategies across platforms including Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn. Develop SMS content and campaigns to communicate with our customer base effectively. Partner with external agencies for multimedia content like videos, print materials, and infographics. Utilise graphic design software and marketing tools to create visually appealing imagery and content to support marketing campaigns and content strategies. Source high-quality images and videos for marketing initiatives, ensuring compliance with copyright laws and usage rights. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, financial promotions and compliance knowledge, market insights, and competitor activities to ensure our content remains relevant and competitive. Conduct keyword research, apply SEO techniques, and optimise content for search engines. Monitor, analyse, and report on the performance of various content types, channels, and campaigns.

Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is desirable. Proven experience in content creation or copywriting across various channels is desirable. Knowledge of brand guidelines, brand identity, and brand voice. Ability to maintain brand consistency across different content channels. Awareness of legal requirements and compliance regulations related to content creation, such as marketing regulations, FCA Consumer Duty, data protection, and privacy regulations.

The ideal candidate will be highly organised, ambitious, and have a proactive, positive attitude. Excellent writing and editing skills with meticulous attention to detail are essential for this role, as is the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Full training will be provided as part of your induction and ongoing learning, allowing you to expand your knowledge of the automotive sector.
