Purpose:
To enable the effective delivery of the marketing content & PR strategy across the organisation’s brand, products and customer groups. The Content & PR Marketing Executive will work with the Marketing Manager and other Sales & Marketing team colleagues to provide content marketing support in line with organisational strategy and departmental objectives.
Principal accountabilities:
Supporting the Marketing Manager to meet the key objectives of the 3-year growth plan, which aims to deliver Matrix’s core business strategy while strengthening our value proposition and brand differentiation.
Own and execute key content and PR initiatives, contributing to the overall success of the Marketing strategy.
Ability to develop our brand voice, establish a strong brand identity and deliver product engagement through content that resonates with the target audience (ICP).
Responsible for the development of all written digital and print content, including website, press releases, news or interest articles, white papers, podcasts, blogging, technical product spec sheets, case studies, AI videos.
Monitor the media, including newspapers, magazines, journals, broadcasts, newswires, social media sites and blogs, for opportunities for content collaboration.
Working with the Campaign Executive to produce engaging campaign content across all channels aligned with the marketing strategy.
Research and identify high-quality content to engage our target accounts.
Managing the social media calendar, including all content creation, social listening, monitoring competitors, reporting and highlighting best practices.
Person specification:
Excellent written and spoken English with a creative flair and an eye for detail.
B2B background with commercial awareness and business acumen.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to foster good working relationships.
A self-motivated and driven individual with a flexible approach to work and the ability to work well under pressure.
Functional skills & qualifications:
BSc degree in Marketing, or a relevant field, is desirable.
Relevant professional qualifications/training, e.g. CIM.
Proven experience in a similar role within a fast-paced, commercially focused SaaS B2B business would be an advantage.
A strong understanding of current content marketing concepts, strategies, and best practices.
Experience working on content for lead generation & campaign engagement.
Demonstrate a passion for creative, in-depth communication, with an established track record of taking content from inception to finish.
