Content Marketing Manager

to lead the development and execution of key marketing content for student recruitment campaigns and create a content strategy that aligns with paid advertising, organic content, and our overall creative direction, driving meaningful engagement with the University. The Role: As Content Marketing Manager, you will have the opportunity to use your substantial experience of developing/managing innovative online and offline marketing and communications to implement engaging and effective content plans for strategic promotion campaigns and activities, supporting student recruitment on campus and online, in line with the University’s strategic priorities. This role will give you the opportunity to use your creative talent to its full effect, taking responsibility for the creation of high-quality marketing collateral that drives paid and non-paid campaigns across multiple channels including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, email, and Google products (paid search, programmatic, YouTube). Your experience in a similar marketing management role will be invaluable as you lead, inspire, and motivate a team of Content Executives, providing strategic direction, ensuring consistency, and overseeing the development of innovative, on-brand ideas across graphic design, multimedia, social media, online content, and user journeys. These efforts will see you playing a key role in supporting student recruitment and advancing other strategic initiatives. You will also have the opportunity to work with colleagues across the University to drive consistency and effectiveness for key on and offline content including annual prospectuses (online and print), key landing pages on napier.ac.uk, study areas, and course pages. Your strong understanding of complex web pages and online journeys will inform how you maximize interest and inquiries through the website and encourage prospective students to engage with us. If you are highly creative, have a strong background in content marketing, and would like to play a fundamental role in how we promote the personality of Edinburgh Napier University and what we can offer, then we would love to hear from you. What we will need from you: Degree in relevant subject, or equivalent relevant work experience Substantial experience of developing and managing innovative online and offline content marketing and communications plans focused on growth and lead generation Experience of providing specialist advice and guidance with respect to digital marketing platforms, channels, and approaches, including at a senior level or to those with non-marketing backgrounds Proven experience of taking a content marketing approach to create compelling content and convey key messages and complex information across different channels Track record of effectively project-managing internal and external resources, including writing effective briefs and monitoring progress to deliver on budget and on time Proven experience of collaborative project management, working closely with creative, performance, and brand teams to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of creative outputs with campaign objectives Benefits we offer: We offer 41 days annual leave (includes bank holidays), a generous pension scheme (17.6%), flexible working, and professional development opportunities.
