We know our customers' content consumption habits are evolving and we are looking to develop our reach and brand awareness across multiple social media platforms. This is a fantastic opportunity to feed into the end-to-end social content production, from the planning and idea generation as part of the social media team, to production and final delivery. Showcasing the exciting and aspirational world of holidays as you travel internationally to capture footage across our global destinations. Joining our small and friendly Social Media team, you will be our subject matter expert for creating digital assets and engaging social media content that inspires, educates, informs and sells information about our brand and product portfolio, across a wide variety of digital platforms. This is a brand-new technical specialist role, so is a brilliant opportunity to be part of the decision on what is produced, create first time visual content, and quickly see the impact of your work. Bringing your experience at capturing high-quality images and video footage, editing them in post-production and managing your own portfolio of projects to amplify brand messages, you can really get your arms round the approach and how we engage with our audience - be that customers or colleagues.Travelling on your own to shoot footage, you will work on multiple projects to tight deadlines and in conjunction with our marketing and commercial teams to ensure everything you produce has commercial gain and meets our overall brand direction. What you will be doing Producing engaging social media and digital content that inspires, educates, informs and sells. You will work from a shot list/story board Capture high-quality images and video footage in shoots you arrange and manage yourself. Edit video pieces to meet brand and social media standards Develop creative assets using production and design tools and software across multiple channels, including video production, photography and graphic design Working with colleagues in our brand and design teams to ensure all content aligns with our identity and messaging. You will be responsible for a range of your own projects, managing them through conception to execution, working with the internal Marketing and Commercial teams to ensure what you produce has commercial benefit. From fast turnaround to longer term, more strategic projects Collaborate with the Social Media team, where this role sits, to brainstorm creative concepts and decide the content that needs to be produced, where and for who. There are no big production teams here. You will need to generate different iterations from a core content idea for multiple channels, both internal and external. React to build on an idea and spot storytelling opportunities as a live situation evolves. Making the most from all situations. What you will bring Creativity and a passion for travel storytelling through visuals, with a good grasp of best practise and trending content. You will do the end-to-end delivery, so you will need extensive creative production experience specifically with digital design, image, and/or video This is a permanent role sitting within a small in-house social media team working in conjunction with marketing and commercial internal teams. You will need experience in digital content project management to manage the multiple projects you need to deliver, experience gained at a design firm, ad agency, or in-house marketing communications or creative services department As you will be the one undertaking the production you need design tools and software extensive experience in one or more of the following (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Final Cut, Adobe) Experience of producing content for social formats across FB, IG, YT, TT, X, LI Proficiency in videography, with an understanding of shooting techniques for dynamic and engaging video content. Resilience to adapt to changing requirements Ability to work in a stand-alone role Full UK Driving license, comfortable driving overseas Ability to travel regularly abroad and within the UK to collect footage Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal stakeholders to understand what assets are needed to support commercial growth of the business An understanding of the paid, earned and owned social media landscape and how these interact with one another What we can offer you £42,000-£45,000 per annum salary (this may vary depending on your relevant skills and experience) Our offices are based in central Crawley and we offer hybrid working (within the UK only). Generally, this role works from our offices twice a week, with additional days as needed depending on meetings etc. Office days are co-ordinated so that colleagues in the same team are in the office together to collaborate in person. We usually support new colleagues in the office full time for the first few weeks. Key benefits include 25 days holiday per calendar year, increasing by one day for every two complete years', to a maximum of 30 days, plus normal bank holidays.
