About the job: Kent is recruiting a Content Writer on a permanent basis working within Kent's global corporate communications and advocacy team. You will be responsible for developing and editing engaging copy in our brand voice and making complex topics relatable. Your responsibilities: Produce high-quality, engaging content, primarily for long-form content including external and internal brochures, thought leadership/blogs, white papers and articles and proposal executive summaries. Work closely with subject matter experts around the world to understand complex topics and develop content strategies. Host and lead messaging workshops with technical teams and subject matter experts to understand core messaging and USP's Conduct thorough research on industry related topics. Work closely with the wider communications and advocacy team to support final output. Proof-reading and editing. Your knowledge/skills, education, and experience: Qualification/ Certification: Bachelor's degree in creative writing/journalism, or a similar field Proficiency in MS Office Skills Requirement: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Excellent organisational and time management skills Previous copywriting experience is essential Attention to detail Understanding of the energy industry and engineering disciplines, experience in this area is a bonus Communication: An empathetic communication style that fosters connection and collaboration High levels of confidence in communications at all levels of the business Core Competencies: Demonstrated excellence in written and oral communication skills in English Demonstrated excellence in research, organisational, and time management skills Ability to collaborate within the team and cross-functionally High levels of confidence in communications at all levels Details about the role: Location:
