The Role This is an exciting opportunity to work within a Legal 500-recognised practice, delivering expert advice and representation on complex disputes while enjoying a supportive and collaborative team environment. As a Contentious Trusts and Probate Solicitor, you will manage a diverse caseload of matters, including: Disputes relating to wills, trusts, and estates. Claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975. Challenges to the validity of wills, including undue influence and capacity disputes. Trustee/beneficiary disputes and breach of trust claims. Court of Protection matters and disputes concerning the administration of estates. You will work closely with clients, including high-net-worth individuals, trustees, and executors, providing clear, pragmatic advice and robust representation. The role also offers opportunities to contribute to business development, helping to grow the department further. About You A qualified Solicitor with at least 2 years' PQE in contentious trusts and probate. Strong technical knowledge of trust and probate law, with experience managing complex cases. Excellent client care skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and sensitively. Commercially aware with a proactive approach to business development. Organised, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
