Are you an experienced Contentious Probate Solicitor looking for a new challenge in a prestigious law firm? We are seeking a skilled and motivated solicitor to join our growing Dispute Resolution team in Oxford.
About the Role: In this role, you will handle a varied caseload of contentious probate matters, including disputes over wills, trusts, inheritance claims, and estate administration. You will work closely with high-net-worth individuals, executors, trustees, and beneficiaries to provide expert legal advice and representation.
Key Responsibilities: Managing a caseload of contentious probate matters, including disputes under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975 Advising clients on claims involving undue influence, lack of capacity, and will validity challenges Representing clients in mediation and litigation proceedings Drafting legal documents, correspondence, and court applications Providing strategic and commercially focused advice to clients Working collaboratively with colleagues across the firm to provide a seamless service
About You: 0 - 5 PQE with experience in contentious probate litigation Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and case law Excellent negotiation and advocacy skills A client-focused approach with outstanding communication skills The ability to manage a busy caseload effectively and work under pressure
