An experienced Relief Female Personal Assistant is required to cover maternity leave/holidays/sickness of staff who care for a 78-year-old disabled lady suffering from MS with some mental health needs.
The role includes all aspects of personal care, assisting with eating and meal preparation, and handling medications. There will be some light cleaning duties.
You will accompany her on outings around the area and keep the lady occupied throughout the day.
The lady is a wheelchair user, so moving and handling experience is essential.
A DBS check will be required and paid for by the employer.
Pay is £14.30 per hour, with 5.6 weeks paid annual leave per year, and time and a half on bank holidays.
Applicants must be able to cover holidays and sickness, sometimes at short notice and on weekends.
