Contract Aircraft Mechanical Fitter
Location: Shawbury
Rate: Negotiable depending on experience
We are looking for an Aircraft Mechanical Fitter on a 6 Month contract to support the maintenance and operation of our clients H135/H145 fleet. This non-certifying role involves assisting with aircraft movement, Line and Base Maintenance, and ensuring safe and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide engineering support to Flight Operations.
- Perform maintenance inspections and repairs as directed.
- Maintain aircraft airframe, power plant, and systems according to OEM instructions.
- Conduct technical work in workshops and assist with aircraft hangar operations, including housekeeping and aircraft movement.
Essential Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills:
- Thorough understanding of engine and airframe systems.
- Knowledge of Flight/Airport Operations, Aircraft Line, and Base Maintenance.
- Apprenticeship in Aircraft Maintenance or related discipline.
- Experience in Base Maintenance, Flight Operations, and Line Maintenance.
