Contract Design Engineer (Outside IR35)

SF Recruitment are recruiting for a Mechanical Design Engineer with expertise in Solidworks to work on a contract basis for our established manufacturing client based in Tamworth. This is an initial 3 month contract but is likely to be extended. Our clients are experts in manufacturing a wide range of gates and require a highly experienced mechanical engineer to assist with workload with little supervision. Responsibilities:
Create models and detailed drawings Remaster old drawings to create definitions that meet modern standards Support colleagues in taking new and updated components through the design review process Support in updating Bills of Material Skills Needed:
5+ years experience with product design - Advanced skills with SolidWorks Full product lifecycle experience Experience in calculation within product development
