Electrical Fitter / Machine Wirer 6-9 Month Minimum Contract Monday to Friday Days - 8am-4pm - 37.5 basic hours Realistic Chance of Overtime - including Saturday Mornings GBP21p/h LTD / UMB - OUTSIDE IR35 Based Letchworth 5D Recruitment is proud to be working exclusively, and in partnership with a leading engineering company based in the heart of the home counties. Employing nearly 50 people they design, manufacture, assemble, test, and ship bespoke machinery from their new, world-class facility. They are market leaders in the concept design and manufacture of fully automated, high precision, bespoke machines which are used to complete complex functions required to guarantee the quality of the product. Working across a variety of industries their main markets include the medical and scientific sectors. They have long-standing agreements with some of the most renowned manufacturers in their sector, with a growing order book, combined with an excellent pipeline the future is looking exciting. This opportunity has arisen due to growth, and we are looking to recruit multiple electrical fitters / control panel wirers to meet the requirements of their new and existing customers and projects, building bespoke machinery from the ground up, including machine wiring and control panel wiring. What the Role Will Involve: Building a bespoke machine, electrically, from the ground up. Wiring up the panel from schematics and wiring diagrams. Machine wiring - including instrumentation, robotic systems, HMI s, camera systems, motors, pumps etc. Working with the engineering team throughout the build and test phase. What we are Looking in a Candidate: Time-served, electrical engineering background. Experience of building and wiring machines or building electrical systems. Can read engineering drawings, including schematics, layout drawings etc. Ideally experience in panel building / wiring however they are happy to train in this part of the role. What we can offer the successful candidate: Outside of IR35 contract. Regular Overtime 45-50 hours a week Ongoing contract duration they currently have a full order book for the next two years and are more winning more work.
