Contract Environment Consultant 12 Months (Initially) £564 per day (Inside IR35) Bristol / Hybrid Security Clearance required iO Associates has partnered with a Defence client in the recruitment of an environmental professional to work on a Tactical Systems programme. As part of the role, you will be responsible for environmental management across a large MOD Team, enabling the team to demonstrate compliance across the multiple projects associated with the programme. Essential skillset includes: Understanding of working with DE&S stakeholders and processes (ASEMS / POEMS / DEF STAN 00-051 / JSP418). Development of key environmental deliverables, through facilitation of Environmental Working Groups. Ability to identify and/or develop evidence for environmental legislation compliance. Hazardous materials management to meet both MOD policy and legal requirements. Net Zero planning. The client can offer some flexibility in regard to remote working and where the programme allows.
