Contract Maintenance Engineer - Electrical Bias Sleaford, Lincolnshire 35.00p/h outside IR35 4 on/4 off nights Gap Technical is proud to be representing a leading National FMCG business in their search for a contract Maintenance Engineer to join their team at a factory near Sleaford, Lincolnshire on a 6 month contract. Performance Objectives Support the FMCG production process by responding promptly to equipment breakdowns, carrying out scheduled maintenance, and proactively addressing recurring machinery issues. React efficiently to equipment breakdowns and ensure full attention is given to the designated production area. Conduct effective fault finding, using historical machine data and documentation to guide repairs. Ensuring that machinery is maintained and repaired to a high standard. Pro-active in the reduction of engineering downtime and continuous improvement of the process and the department. Person Specification The successful candidate will ideally have completed a time-served engineering apprenticeship. A background in Food/FMCG/Packaging Manufacturing will be a distinct advantage; however, it is not a prerequisite. You must be an excellent communicator and be able to plan and organise efficiently.
