FM Conway is seeking a Contract Manager to join our growing Street Lighting division, based in Dartford.As our Contract Manager you will implement street lighting and electrical works, ensuring the highest level of health, safety and quality. You will be responsible for the running and management of your allocated contract and the further development of the street lighting business. The duties of the Contract Manager role will include: - Planning and programming works, including pre-contract site visits to determine project requirements - Managing the relevant street lighting contracts team, motivating them, dealing with any performance issues and promoting the continual professional development of all key members of staff - Ensuring tool box talks, safety alerts, daily briefings, safety inspections, customer satisfactions, supply chain and near miss reporting’s are completed as per company requirements - Ensuring that all site works are executed in a time and cost-efficient manner whilst regularly liaising with clients, the general public, authorities and sub-contractors / suppliers; to include ensuring that the correct licences/ permits are in place and valid for the works being undertaken - Making sure that plant and materials are ordered to support the works programme as well as ensuring all plant is fit for purpose and maintained to required standards - Monitoring and maintaining records of plant, labour and materials and to assist in monthly internal commercial reporting and external contract performance reporting. What skills and experience do you need? We are looking for candidates with previous experience within a similar role. It is essential that you have worked in the street lighting industry within a commercially focused role. To be considered for this role you must have strong electrical knowledge, experience in programming, H&S site specific risk assessments and good IT skills. It would be beneficial if you had previously used Map 16. In addition, you will be an excellent communicator with high business ethics, in addition you will have the following qualifications/certifications: - 210 G39 certification - HEA/HERS Qualified Supervisor - HEA/HERS Authorised Officer - CSCS - SMSTS - Full UK driving licence - Level 6 NVQ in Management What benefits will you receive?
