Job Description As the Contact Manager, within Heathrow's fast-paced and regulated environment you will work closely with business stakeholders to create and execute short and long-term sourcing strategies. You will shape procurement approaches for varied sourcing activities and lead the contracting with our supply-chain to maximise value and minimise risk. Working closely with Commercial Managers you will manage multiple procurement projects, predominantly our Information and Communication Systems Programme, as well as our Cyber Resilience Programme. These two programmes are critical to the success of us meeting our Digital Future strategy, and will offer a chance to make a tangible difference to the running of the airport from a Technology perspective. Responsibilities Leading and influencing strategic and tactical sourcing activities technology projects that deliver new solutions for the airport or upgrades and enhancements to solutions. Constructively challenging business plans and strategy documents to ensure robustness of approach that maximises commercial opportunity and mitigates risk. Managing contracts and supplier relationships to maximise commercial and contractual benefit. Supporting and maintaining all necessary agreed processes for supplier management, claims management, benefits and savings, and continuous improvement targets whilst meeting all contract, regulatory, risk-reward and exit strategy requirements. Qualifications Experience of procurement activities, defining and creating procurement approaches to deliver stakeholder outcomes. Strong evidence of contract management experience, including drafting, reviewing and execution. Demonstrable experience of managing RFP processes. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Good commercial acumen with the ability to interpret financial data and apply it to decision making. Ideally, you'll also have: Working towards professional qualification e.g. CIPS or equivalent, or willingness to commit to pursuing. Experience working in a Technology or Construction procurement role. Knowledge of RIBA gateways/stages. About Us There's something special about working at the world's most iconic airport. Working Location Our Hybrid working approach offers the opportunity for colleagues in some roles to work from home for an average of two days a week, providing the flexibility to work in an agile way whilst ensuring we deliver for the operational needs of Heathrow. Working arrangements vary from team to team and will be confirmed during the recruitment process. You'll need to be based in the UK and within a commutable distance to Heathrow.
