LEEDS , just a few miles from the M1 & M62 motorways, meaning that the successful Contract Mechanical Fitter can easily commute from Wakefield, Bradford, Selby, Castleford, Pontefract, Huddersfield, Wetherby and Harrogate. Key Responsibilities of the Contract Mechanical Fitter will include:
Building and assembling a range of industrial rotating equipment Dynamic balancing of components, including impellors, shafts and rotors Reading, interpreting and working directly from a range of technical drawings, BOMs and schematics, ensuring that products are built in line with tolerances and specifications Minimum Qualifications:
IDEAL BUT NOT ESSENTIAL: Possess formal qualifications within a relevant discipline (Apprenticeship, NVQ/BTEC/City & Guilds Level 3, HNC, HND etc.) The ability to read & interpret engineering drawings and effectively use a variety of hand & power tools Working Hours of the Contract Mechanical Fitter:
37 Hours per week working a regular day shift: Monday to Thursday – 07:00 to 15:30 Friday – 07:00 to 12:00 Compensation and Benefits:
