options available We have a fantastic opportunity for an Arborist Contract Programme Manager to join our team! As a Contract Programme Manager, you will manage financial and commercial aspects daily. You ensure external resources meet cost, quality, and customer service standards in contracts. The role involves planning and organising Contract Partners for tree cutting projects related to electrical equipment. This includes overseeing work across four regions, ensuring safety, quality, and budget compliance. We are looking for someone with good leadership skills. Someone trustworthy with great data management skills. Other roles & responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Lead by example to promote a positive culture for Safety by conducting 4 site visits weekly and encouraging safety behaviour regularly. Plan and schedule teams efficiently to boost productivity and performance. Confirm accurate data submitted by contract partners, such as work completion dates, pre-commencement meetings, and forecast delivery completed on time and with accuracy. Indirectly manage external partners to exceed customer and regulator expectations. Ensure work is delivered on time as per contracted agreements with partners and track and audit contractor resources daily to maintain accountability. What do I need? To be considered for this role, we would love you to have: A good understanding of the NEC3 contract, contractor, and commercial management. Excellent IT skills to effectively analyse data which is a big part of this role. Demonstrable experience delivering large projects, understanding of the tendering process for the purchasing and engagement of suppliers. Experience of leading and motivating small teams in a target-driven environment. Knowledge of network operations and vegetation management works within a distribution network. As there is a requirement to travel to various locations, a full driving license is therefore essential. About our Business SSEN Distribution
