CONTRACT SALES MANAGER , someone to take the lead of our Managed Service operation in Norwich.

Working hours are Mon-Fri 7.30am - 4.30pm - no weekend working and working location is 24 Weston Road, Norwich, NR3 3TP. The branch is a BUSY one! We have over 30 TP colleagues working within our merchanting, managed service, tool hire and Benchmarx kitchen teams. This role is within our dedicated managed services team, leading a team of 6, with a healthy £T/O; a dedicated sales professional is now needed to grow our client relationships to their full potential.

What will you be doing?

Developing strong relationships with key managed service clients in order to build profitable business growth. Build regular, productive and focused contact with the key customers and your branch colleagues in order to drive value add to the customers. Be in control of sales, margin and overheads for your managed service clients to exceed targets and deliver best in class financial performance. Manage numerous core client relationships, building rapport and trust, spotting opportunities for growth and being able to juggle and prioritise workload across different client demands. Attend regular client meetings. Support the Branch Manager to set the tone and champion a Stay Safe culture across the branch at all times promoting a healthy workplace and colleague wellbeing. You will lead, motivate, engage and delegate to empower your team to work together and deliver great service for our customers. What’s in it for you?

The successful candidate will IDEALLY already be supporting/managing a merchanting store, with demonstrable experience in sales growth and stakeholder management. You will have relevant skills and experience in relationship management, identifying and converting sales opportunities, motivating a wider team with a fantastic attitude to customer service. You will understand the importance of compliance, audit and health & safety within the branch and will champion a positive culture.
