Ensure effective security of the assigned patrol locations against damage by fire, water, theft, or vandalism. Detect, where possible, those responsible for losses or malicious damage to the client's property. Ensure that all persons wishing to enter the premises are fully identified as belonging to either the authorised client's personnel or visitors whom the client management can verify. Ensure that all reasonable instructions the client issues are implicitly and swiftly acknowledged. Provide a robust and efficient emergency response system to any emergency within the Paradise development. Security Officer Duties: Offer advice/assistance to staff and visitors Protect the premises, property, and personnel from theft, damage, and violence Patrol the site and buildings to prevent fire, flood, theft, and damage Deter unauthorised activity Search premises and people as instructed Provide access to cleaners and maintenance staff as instructed Provide first aid response Assist in support of programmes, corporate events, and functions Check and validate all staff, visitors, and contractors passes Issue and log keys; ensure their security and safe return after use Operate, monitor, and respond to installed security and safety systems including CCTV, access control, intruder, and fire alarms Maintain a log of occurrences Produce incident reports Direct and assist visitors Lock and unlock offices as necessary Check firefighting equipment Monitor and oversee the effective performance of security equipment Comply with and operate site security instructions and policies Comply with and operate site emergency and Health & Safety procedures; respond as necessary to emergencies, including assistance to the emergency services in the event of fire/bomb threats Who We Are: Ward Security provides security services solutions to a range of UK businesses.
