PURPOSE OF JOB: To work with the Legal team to provide key support for efficient and effective contracts administration within the business with a focus on software and hardware supply, professional services, and managed services. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Reviewing and responding to legal issues and enquiries from both internal and external customers Ensuring end-to-end management of all contracts that pass through the Legal department – MSA, GTC, EULA, Reseller Agreements, Tenders, Frameworks Reviewing key professional services Partner Agreements Responding to general legal enquiries INDIVIDUAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Working closely with the Vendor Ops, Sales, Tenders, Finance, and Services teams to provide support to partners, customers, and suppliers in drafting relevant contracts Drafting / redrafting and negotiating agreements Representing Bytes in front of both customers and suppliers throughout commercial discussions and negotiations Supporting the Legal team with contractual matters QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS: Educational Qualifications: Degree in Business or Law - Essential Years of Experience: 1-2 years’ worth of experience in a contracts administration or legal administration role - Essential Other Requirements: Negotiation skills - Desirable A good understanding of both the UK legal system and commercial law - Desirable A general understanding of IT reseller relationships - Desirable Experience with public sector frameworks - Desirable CORE COMPETENCIES & SKILLS: Excellent communicator (written and verbal) Ability to liaise with staff at all levels High attention to detail Capable of working largely independently Highly organised and able to plan and manage workload, and deliver excellent results Proactive worker, focused and likes to see tasks through to completion
