£35,235 to £38,626 per year. The Waste Management service is looking for an enthusiastic candidate to take on the role of Contracts and Projects Manager. Candidates should have a relevant degree and/or equivalent experience of contract/project management. A keen interest in waste management is required. The successful candidate will be required to undertake a workplace learning agreement which will include working towards a WAMITAB (or similar) level 4 or 5 qualification. Duties: Assisting with grant applications Managing projects Procurements Performance management Managing contracts Preparation of reports Assisting with the management of change across the service area Safeguarding Within Swansea Council there is a "Safeguarding is Everybody's Business" principle, and this applies to all Swansea Council employees, elected members, volunteers and contractors.
