Plumbing & Heating Contracts Manager required for our client, a well-established mechanical and electrical contractor, established in 2001. They are now looking for a Contracts Manager to join their Essex department, covering works across Kent, London and Essex.
You will be involved in 4-5 domestic projects, such as new builds, ranging from £500K up to £1.5M per job.
Contracts Manager Salary & Benefits £50,000 - £60,000 DOE Company Vehicle & Mileage claimed back (personal use) 25 days + 8BH Monday - Friday (45 hours - 8am-5pm) Mobile Phone / Laptop Private Healthcare Pension Profit sharing
Contracts Manager Job Overview You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the projects from inception to completion, including but not limited to:
Resourcing local labour Manage the installation work carried out by the company Managing engineers and sub-contractors on site Liaising with client site manager and contracts managers Keeping to budget Value engineering Staying on top of variations and delivering the projects on time to a high standard Produce monthly reports on projects Manage all aspects of Plumbing, Heating & Gas, Soil Stacks and plant rooms
Contracts Manager Job Requirements 2 years minimum experience as a Plumbing and Heating Contracts Manager Gas Safe Registered Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience as a Plumbing & Heating Engineer Experience managing multiple projects at the same time Able to manage plumbing, heating and gas engineers Excellent leadership and communication skills Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and industry best practices Ability to manage budgets and control costs Full UK driving license
