Are you a proactive and results-driven professional with a passion for Property Services and Contractor Management? We're looking for a Contracts Manager to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in ensuring that our customers' homes are maintained to the highest standard.

As a Contracts Manager, you'll lead a dedicated Property Services Contract team, managing a framework of contractors to deliver efficient repairs and maintenance across your designated area. You'll ensure all processes comply with financial regulations, statutory requirements, and company policies while fostering great relationships with contractors and teams alike. Oversee maintenance, servicing, and responsive repairs to ensure contractors meet their contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct audits to verify that contractors meet quality, safety, and legislative standards, including compliance with CDM regulations. Build strong relationships across teams and with contractors to deliver exceptional customer experiences and uphold our Code of Conduct. Contribute to the development of policies and initiatives, ensuring best practices and alignment with housing and legal standards.

This role is being offered on a permanent, full-time basis and can be based in our Tolvaddon or Exeter office. A hybrid working style is an option.

Minimum Requirements:

Proven experience managing third-party service providers, particularly in repairs and maintenance for domestic properties. Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills to deliver best value for money. Track record of providing consistent, customer-focused service through external suppliers. In-depth knowledge of Health & Safety and CDM legislation, with experience in repairs and asset management systems. Excellent analytical and performance management skills, ensuring continuous improvement. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities with internal and external stakeholders. Flexible, results-driven, and resilient, with a commitment to personal development and delivering high standards under pressure. Relevant experience leading teams in a construction-related field, supported by a good general education. Health & Safety certification (SMSTS, IOSH, NEBOSH, or equivalent). Desirable qualifications include: Level 4/5 in construction (HNC/HND), management (ILM/CIH), or housing/asset management (CIH Level 3). Full, valid UK driving licence.
