Contracts Manager
- (nr Chichester and surrounding areas) High-End Residential Permanent Start ASAP This well-established (60-year-old +), prestigious, family run building contractor specialises in renovation, extension and refurbishment of period and bespoke one-off properties. They have a requirement for an experienced Contracts Manager to join the region. The ideal person would be based around Guildford within easy reach to offices nr Chichester, and a region c80 miles from there. The Role:
Running multiple projects from start to finish. Construction procurement. Health and Safety Planning. Directing the site team and subcontractors. Managing and motivating site team and staff. Liaising with the client and consultants involved in the project. Overall responsibility to deliver the programme ensuring the site set up, programming, logistics plans and handover run smoothly. The contracts manager must have at least 5 years experience at contracts management level, for a main contractor - ideally with high-end residential experience. This role can also be referred to as a Construction Manager, Projects Manager or Contracts Manager.
