Contracts Manager, SE London, Successful regional main contractor £competitive Your new company A successful regional main contractor with an enviable record of delivering a diverse range of schemes across many years. With several divisions, they work across the residential, heritage, education, healthcare, fitout, and assisted living sectors, typically on schemes up to £10 million in value. With an extremely well-structured commercial and delivery team, they work with predominantly retained clients across Greater London and SE. Due to a recent retirement coupled with several contract awards, they now seek an experienced contracts manager to join the team.

Your new role As contracts manager, you will head your team and be directly responsible for the delivery of 3-4 schemes. You will be involved in all aspects of the projects from cradle to grave including supporting on tenders, attending tender interviews, producing a detailed site programme, overseeing design with the support of a design manager, regular liaison with clients and other stakeholders, managing and directing site teams, having a general overview of costs via the QS's, producing monthly reports to the construction director for each scheme, and generally ensuring each project is running as smoothly as possible with any issues identified and rectified in good time.

What you'll need to succeed You will have significant experience of working in a similar capacity for a general main contractor and be comfortable managing multiple schemes including the contract administration and strategic information needed. You will have a stable work history and be looking for a permanent role in the SE region.
