Our client, a leading civil engineering contractor, is looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to join the team looking after projects, predominantly in East and Central Scotland.

This role is pivotal to the business and requires someone with a strong civils background and proven experience in a management role. You will ideally come from an engineering-related background where you have worked your way up and have the technical knowledge to understand drawings and the administration side of the role.

Your key responsibilities will include: Getting involved early in the project process at the estimating stage. Understanding the job to take it on with confidence. Programming and resourcing the project. Conducting valued engineering. Identifying issues and solutions.

Working predominantly out on site, you will also be expected to go into the office for meetings and to complete administration and reports.

Your package for this challenging and rewarding role will include a salary of up to £65k (flexibility DOE) + an excellent benefits package, training, and development.
