Contracts Manager / Estimator Southampton Salary up to 70,000 + Car Allowance + 25 Days Holiday + Pension A respected Shopfitting contractor based in Southampton is searching for a Contracts Manager/Estimator to join their business. They are a long-standing Shopfitting business who specialise in individual and multiple unit roll-out programmes. They have been operating for over 30 years and work for blue chip clients such as Samsung, The White Company, Hays Travel, Goldsmiths, Hobbycraft, New Look, GAP and Whittard. The company is entering a sustained busy period and require a Contracts Manager / Estimator to take projects from tender through to handover and final account. The company will consider either a

Project Manager

or

Contracts Manager

with

Fit-Out

or

Shopfitting

experience who can price and manage project costs and operational duties. The role of the Contracts Manager / Estimator: You will control all operational and commercial aspects of projects. You will be responsible for pricing and winning work. You will be working closely with the Site Managers to drive forward advance planning, programming and management of projects through to completion. You will have a firm hold on Health and Safety regulations and the practical application of monitoring these details. You must be able to work independently and under the pressure of tight deadlines. You will be an effective communicator and can lead teams. You can work from home or the office and will need to travel to sites when required. You will be prepared to work over a large geographical area. You will have financial and commercial awareness. Qualifications of the Contracts Manager / Estimator: SMSTS, CSCS, CIOB (Desirable). Time served understanding of joinery (Desirable). Any related construction management qualification. i.e. HND/HNC, BSc. (Desirable). On Offer for the Contracts Manager / Estimator: Salary up to 70,000 + Car Allowance + 25 Days Holiday + Pension Friendly working environment. Ongoing training and development.
