The Client:

One of the most recognisable regional names in the Suffolk contracting market, operating throughout East Anglia, this established main contractor has quickly developed a reputation as one of the leading builders in the area, delivering an exciting range of complex projects across a range of business sectors.

The Role:

As Contracts Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing and managing multiple construction projects ranging from £500k to £5m in value across East Anglia, working closely with an exciting variety of clients with full autonomy to deliver works from start to finish.

Responsibilities:

Overseeing and managing all aspects of the construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget and to a high-quality standard. Managing and coordinating sub-contractors, suppliers and materials, ensuring compliance with contracts and specifications. Managing all contractual aspects of the construction projects, including variations, claims, and disputes. Managing client expectations and maintaining regular communication to ensure satisfaction and retention. Ensuring compliance with all relevant Health and Safety legislation and regulations.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Construction Contracts Manager, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, sub-contractors, and colleagues. Strong knowledge of construction contracts and regulations. Experience managing projects ranging from £500k to £5m in value.

Qualifications & Experience:

Ideally Degree, HND or NVQ qualified in Construction Management. A proactive attitude to building client relationships. Ability to work under tight deadlines and deliver high-quality work. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
