Are you an experienced and dynamic Contracts Manager looking for your next position? We are currently looking for a Contracts Manager to provide leadership, guidance and direction to the local contract management teams in Bromley and Bexley, ensuring objectives and targets associated within the contracts are achieved, whilst building strong and lasting relationships with our clients. Within this role you will manage effective allocation of operational resources, driving best practice and continuous improvement. Reporting to the Contracts Director and working closely with the Commercial Team, you will strive to maximise financial returns on all aspects of the contracts. Main Responsibilities

As the successful Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for safety, health and environment within the contracts, ensuring full compliance with all business policies and procedures, alongside accountability for the effective delivery of contractual objectives and KPIs and overall Riney Business Strategy. On a day-to-day basis, duties and responsibilities of the Contracts Manager will include (not exhaustive): Driving performance improvement in relations to safety, promoting a zero tolerance towards accidents and by instilling a culture of health and safety best practice by setting a personal example. Delivery of Contract Budget and Forecast. Driving the effective management of any exposure to both financial and contractual risk, maximising financial return on all contracts and ensuring prompt cash collection within contract provisions. Developing & maintaining key client relationships. Working closely with Tarmac to maximise the use of internal products and services. Driving performance improvements, sharing best practice across the business. Effectively managing, coaching and developing direct reports, driving employee engagement. Actively contributing to the training plans for all contracts. The Ideal Candidate

The ideal Contracts Manager will be commercially astute to deliver programmes on time and within budget, with managerial experience ideally within the Contracting industry providing leadership to complex contracts. Suitable candidates for the Contracts Manager role will possess the following: Product / Service Technical Knowledge. Health & Safety IOSH or equivalent Certification. IT Literate Word Excel, Project and PowerPoint. Operational technical Knowledge. Estimating / Costing / Financial Management Systems. Ability to work to tight deadlines. Effective communication skills. CSCS Qualification. The role is based at Belvedere with travel required to various office and site locations within the London area.
