Role Purpose The Facilities Maintenance Manager will oversee the maintenance and repair of M&E equipment across multiple blue-chip contracts within the Resident and Mobile Portfolio. The successful candidate will ensure the optimal operation of assets, maintain compliance with operational, regulatory, and statutory practices, and deliver exceptional service to clients while leading with innovation and confidence. Key Responsibilities Maintain commercial and financial accountability across contracts. Lead and manage a diverse team of engineering professionals. Monitor and control PPM and reactive statistics using the Elogbooks System, producing regular reports. Prepare monthly reports and ensure meeting minutes and actions are documented and closed out. Generate energy reports for clients and ensure statutory certifications are accessible upon request. Ensure team compliance with SMS Procedures and Policies, prioritising well-being and health & safety. Balance cost management with service delivery excellence, ensuring staffing levels adapt to workload fluctuations and disaster recovery needs. Person Specification Essential Qualifications: Recognised industry qualification in at least one of the following disciplines: Electrical (BSth Edition) Electrical (C&G2391 Inspection and Testing) C&G Mechanical & HVAC Desirable Knowledge and Skills: Familiarity with current technical standards in areas such as Fire Alarm Systems, Generators, Electrical Services, HV & AC, and Water Systems Treatment. Understanding of business-critical services, such as UPS and MGPS. Comprehensive knowledge of statutory compliance. IOSH or NEBOSH qualification preferred.
