We aim to be recognised for our quality and we like to think outside the blocks! What’s the job? We are looking for a Contracts Manager to oversee 3 developments located across Bolton and Blackburn. This role involves providing support and management of the development teams to hit project deadlines within budget, whilst ensuring that company standards are achieved and maintained. As a Contracts Manager at Watsons, you will be the key contact for our clients and play a significant role in orchestrating our social value plans to help build communities in the areas we develop. What are we offering? For the right candidate, you'll receive: Competitive salary based on experience plus car allowance Working hours of Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm 33 days annual leave including 8 bank holidays pro rata Company pension Profit share bonus scheme Employee Assist Programme Company social events The ideal candidate will have: NVQ Level 6 or above in Construction Management Temporary Work Coordinator SMSTS First Aid Proven experience in a similar role overseeing projects including timber frame, masonry, and lightweight steel frame High level of construction technical knowledge, building regulations, and legal standards Effective people management skills Previous experience of influencing social value and client interaction There will be a two-stage interview process for the role, consisting of an informal telephone interview and a face-to-face interview with the Directors, working towards a start date of 27th Jan 2025.
