Thorn Baker is currently working with an award-winning regional commercial contractor covering a variety of new build and refurb projects across the South West. With a growing portfolio and 2025 looking like their busiest year yet, they are looking for Contracts Managers to join them across the Swindon Region working on a variety of projects across healthcare, education, and commercial projects to name a few.

Your Responsibilities:
Develop and implement project strategy and delivery programme
Ensure effective communication and implementation to deliver the project on time
Ensure regular monitoring and reporting on progress, and instigate corrective actions as required
Manage the operational aspects of the project to achieve the budget
Review performance against targets
Identify and manage potential risks and opportunities
Manage project handover
Lead and motivate the project teams and the supply chain to deliver the projects on time and within budget, to the highest quality.
Required Skills:
SMSTS, First Aid at Work
Experience working on similar commercial projects.
Strong health and safety knowledge
Computer literate and comfortable using a variety of IT packages.
Experience working for a main contractor
