Detailed job description and main responsibilities Support the Head of Procurement - Commercial Contract Management in the development, implementation and success of the department's objectives. Manage contract performance practice through the development of governance strategies, setting targets and indicators. Negotiate contractual issues ensuring all procurement processes are adhered to. Analysis of purchasing activity data to identify contract development opportunities. Person specification Qualifications Essential criteria Qualified to CIPS NVQ Level 4 or equivalent CIPS knowledge and/or experience which can be demonstrated using experience and knowledge. Experience Essential criteria Contract management experience. Strong purchasing skills and depth of experience across a range of supply/service areas. Skills Essential criteria Ability to analyse complex information, interpret and/or present in a clear, comprehensive format. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
