Are you an experienced Project or Contracts Manager with a background in refurbishment and fit-out projects? Or perhaps a seasoned Project Manager ready to take the next step in your career? This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established, medium-sized contractor specializing in small-scale refurbishment schemes across the Southern Home Counties.

About the Role Our client is seeking a motivated and skilled Contracts Manager to oversee multiple projects across the region. You'll be managing projects from start to finish, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. With the autonomy to take charge of small refurb schemes, this role offers significant career progression in a growing business. Refurbishment, fit-out, and tendering experience would be a great advantage, but the role is also suited to experienced Project Managers eager to step up into a Contracts Manager position.

Key Responsibilities: Manage multiple projects simultaneously. Oversee all aspects of project delivery, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and quality control. Lead site teams and subcontractors, ensuring clear communication and smooth project execution. Contribute to tendering processes, including pricing and submissions, when required. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all sites. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.

Requirements To succeed in this role, you will need: Minimum of 6 years' experience in project or contracts management, ideally with a well-known contractor. Proven track record in refurbishment and/or fit-out projects. Experience in tendering processes would be a strong advantage. Full, clean UK driving license (essential). Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to oversee multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities. Desirable: A background with a medium-sized contractor is ideal, as is familiarity with smaller refurb schemes.

Why Join Us? This role provides the opportunity to grow your career in a supportive environment with an emphasis on progression. As a Contracts Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping project outcomes and driving the success of the business.

Salary and Benefits: Competitive salary of £80,000 - £85,000, depending on experience. Career progression opportunities, particularly for experienced Project Managers looking to step into a Contracts Manager role.

If you're a results-driven professional with a passion for delivering quality refurbishment and fit-out projects, we want to hear from you. Step into a role where your expertise and leadership can shine - apply today!
