Here at Americold Whitchurch we are now recruiting for a Control Centre Admin FTC.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the flow of vehicles on and off the site, ensuring all required information is captured and accurately input into relevant systems. You'll prepare and issue delivery notes, verifying that all stock is correctly scanned and supplementary delivery documentation, such as CMRs and customs paperwork, is processed efficiently. Welcoming visitors will also be part of your responsibilities, including issuing visitor passes, ensuring accurate completion, and providing Health & Safety briefings.
You’ll coordinate with the Warehouse Team to guide vehicles to the correct locations, while also ensuring all receipt and dispatch documents are scanned and uploaded to the system. In addition, you will handle the scanning and filing of completed load sheet summaries and check, scan, and document all PODs, addressing any discrepancies and updating systems as needed.
Processing customer and haulier bookings will form a critical aspect of your duties, where you'll confirm that each booking adheres to warehouse requirements and company planning rules. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams to ensure seamless operations.
Working Hours
7am - 7pm, 4 on 4 off basis
Essential
Previous administration experience (essential)
Previous experience in a transport company (desirable)
