How can you unearth the possibilities with Nufarm? The primary purpose of the role is to ensure effective Control & Instrument maintenance and close out of maintenance deliverables at the company’s Wyke Facilities. In addition, the role will include the requirement to interface with the Production Department, Engineering Department and Project Teams as directed by the EC&I Supervisor. What’s possible? Ensure that all Control and Instrument routine, corrective shutdown/turnaround and breakdown maintenance activity plans include appropriate Job Hazard Analysis (JHA), Risk Assessment and precautionary measures in compliance with the company permit to work system and control of work procedures, to minimize risk to personnel, the environment and company assets. Ensure all instrument maintenance activities provide for maximum availability of plant equipment and machinery under the control of the Company based CMMS (Oracle EAM) system, covering all planned, corrective and breakdown maintenance, including discipline resource management and materials requirements. Provide desired services to production operations at optimal levels in line with departmental planning strategies. Ensure compliance with mandatory requirements in conjunction with the company defined maintenance strategy, regarding standard plant and equipment inspection, Flange Management, including plant process control systems, DCS Control system and plant/ facilities Fire & Gas detection systems and ESD systems. Ensure maintenance inter departmental interface is maintained in accordance with company operating standards and requirements. (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrument/ Controls). Provide input in Competency Based Training and succession planning for department staff in conjunction with the training and human resources department. Provide collaborative support to Production Department, Project Management Teams, Facilities development projects & engineering group as directed by the Maintenance Lead. Assist with adequate interfacing within department and functional support groups as outlined in operations reference and action plans. What do you bring? Experienced in multi-discipline maintenance management (Control & Instrument) at top-tier COMAH chemical, petrochemical, or upstream oil & gas facilities. Skilled in functional environments (shared services/matrix organizations) and working with contracted service providers. Proficient in interfacing with OEMs, vendor service providers, and project teams. Knowledgeable in Process Safety Management, DCS control systems, PLC systems, Fire & Gas/ESD management, process instrumentation, and control systems. Familiar with chemical industry production operations and industry-standard specifications. Experienced with CMMS and SCM systems (SAP, ORACLE EAM) and proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic PLC software. Strong team player/leader, adaptable, and innovative. Experienced in coaching and mentoring maintenance personnel. Effective in communicating reports to line management.
