The Role:
Mechanical fitting e.g. drilling, punching and assembly
Fitting electrical components within control panels
Wiring of electrical components including power, controls voltage, PLC systems
Reading engineering drawings
Working to complete jobs in accordance with the design and to agreed timescales
Adherence to the company s health & safety rules
Working to industry practices and company quality system
Some training may be provided, but the following would be an advantage:
A suitable and recognised electrical apprenticeship or qualification
Experience of fitting and assembly of panel components
Experience of electrical wiring, maintenance or installation
Basic electrical diagnostics capabilities
The ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
Good prospects for career progression within an organisation that can offer continued support and training towards future engineering/design positions. This is an opportunity to gain experience working in a fast-paced business on a range of interesting and diverse projects.
37.5 hour week (8.00am to 4.00pm, Monday to Friday) with overtime available.
Permanent PAYE or Contract position.
