What You'll Be Doing as a Control Panel Builder:

Building and wiring control panels from scratch using schematics and assembly drawings. Marking, drilling, and assembling panels to align with client requirements. Fitting both electrical and mechanical components. Testing and troubleshooting control panels to ensure functionality. Using a variety of hand and battery-powered tools efficiently.

Pay: £17.50 - £18.00 per hour (equivalent to £36,400 - £37,440 per year for a 40-hour week, before overtime) Overtime Paid at 1.5x and 1.2x the standard rate

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday: 7am - 4:30pm, Friday: 7am - 11am (Enjoy an early finish on Fridays)

What We're Looking For: Proven experience in Control Panel Building, Electrical Wiring, or a similar role. Relevant qualifications in Electrical Engineering or a related field (e.g., NVQ, BTEC, or City & Guilds). Experience with electrical and mechanical component fitting. Proficiency in troubleshooting and testing control panels. Familiarity with a variety of hand and battery-powered tools. Attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality work within deadlines.
