£50-55k + 9% matched pension + private health insurance + discounted gym membership Samuel Frank is recruiting for an experienced Control System Engineer to work for a Cumbrian based specialist machine manufacturing company. One of the main aspects of the Control System Engineer role is PLC programming and fault-finding on existing PLC code; this is an essential requirement. Key Responsibilities:
Support the engineering team with PLC & control system fault finding Rectify system/PLC faults and identify root causes Responsible for site electrical drawings and schematics Support the engineering team in delivering Continuous Improvement projects and process improvements Assess risks in relation to control systems (e.g. PLCs) and necessary contingencies for failure or upgrade Create new PLC programs and software updates when required Support the maintenance team in maintaining the plant and equipment to agreed standards Desirable Qualifications: COMPEX knowledge (not essential; training will be arranged if needed) Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics (not essential; training will be arranged if needed) Benefits:
