Control Systems Development Engineer (Engines/Automotive) Peterborough, Cambridgeshire £45 - £49 per hour (Umbrella) Inside IR35 12 month initial contract with long term extension opportunities Excellent opportunity for a Control Systems Engineer with experience working with engines or in the automotive industry who is looking for a varied role working on a number of exciting development projects on next generation projects. In this role, you will be working as part of an established team on state-of-the-art development for control systems used on their automotive projects. The role will involve using Matlab, Simulink and Stateflow; experience with at least two of these software tools is essential. You will help create new code and processes for their innovative projects, including alternative fuels as well as electric and hybrid systems. The team is heavily involved in new product development through the prototype and manufacturing phases. This role is 37 hours a week, Monday to Friday, with flexible hours and hybrid working opportunities but does require a minimum of 3 days a week on site. This role is working Inside of IR35 regulations.
