Thanks to both a high increase in workload and internal movement, this world-leading supplier has immediate requirements for 4 Control Systems Engineers who are competent with Rockwell PLC's.

Control Systems Engineer - The Role:

PLC Programming - writing & developing code. 90% of systems use Rockwell, therefore this experience is essential. Any additional ability with Siemens is helpful. Development of structured ladder logic, statement list, function blocks. Set-up of system communications & drives, particularly AC/DC inverters. Perform testing & validation of hardware/software systems. On-site commissioning of new systems both in the UK and worldwide, including customer training. Development of Robot software. Remote customer support - fault finding and diagnostics.

Control Systems Engineer - The Person:

Experienced in PLC system design & programming - Allen Bradley as a minimum. Systems, Software & Hardware development experience. Knowledge of Ignition systems desirable. B.Eng / M.Eng Electrical, Electronics or Mechatronic degree qualification (BTEC with significant controls experience will be considered). Any ability with SCADA systems or robot programming highly advantageous; however, training will be provided.

You MUST be flexible for international travel. All Engineers are expected to spend 3-4 periods per year on site, for 3-4 weeks at a time.

Located in Shropshire, this role is commutable from Telford, Wolverhampton, Bridgnorth, Shrewsbury, Stafford.
