Due to the continued growth and success of our Business Risk Services practice and following the recent Corporate Governance Code internal controls reporting update, we are seeking a Senior Manager with a focus on Controls advisory to join the team. This opportunity will develop and grow your career with high profile clients where each assignment is different from the last. We support our clients in delivering controls and assurance engagements, working with a range of large, complex organisations. We are looking for an experienced individual with a proven track record of leadership and delivery of large scale internal control programmes. As a Controls Advisory Senior Manager within our BRS, you will: Lead large-scale controls or US SOX programmes, from inception through to ongoing compliance. Contribute to the continued growth of BRS, this role also will include working with Partners and Directors to develop opportunities and win work. Take responsibility for developing more junior team members, proactively understanding their career aspirations and support in this delivery. Knowing you’re right for us
Joining us as a Controls Advisory Senior Manager, the
minimum criteria
you’ll need is a proven track record of leading control advisory engagements, Corporate Governance Code internal control readiness projects or large-scale SOX programmes. It would be great if you had some of the following skills, but don’t worry if you don’t tick every box, we’ll help you develop along the way: Professional practice experience, with a track record of leading client engagements and ensuring their effective completion/quality. Leadership of multidisciplinary teams and oversight and development of team members. Demonstrable experience of leading and supporting business development/winning of new work. Able to build extensive and active internal networks which cross geographical and client service boundaries and contribute to this network to enable others to share their knowledge. Extensive experience of using Microsoft packages and familiarity with risk and control software. Confidence in managing a portfolio of clients. Experience of developing and maintaining senior stakeholder relationships. Knowing we’re right for you
