Are you an experienced Electrical Controls Engineer looking to take your career to the next level? Our client, a leader in bespoke engineering solutions, is seeking a talented individual to join their team and work on innovative, turnkey projects.
The Role
Design and program PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems (e.g., Siemens, Mitsubishi). Develop electrical distribution systems, motor control centres, and control panels. Prepare tenders, specifications, and design documentation. Provide technical support during client and sub-contractor meetings. Manage project lifecycles from concept to commissioning. Produce and oversee testing documentation (FAT/SAT).
Essential Skills:
Relevant qualification (HNC/HND/Degree) in Electrical Engineering. Experience in control systems, including PLC/MCC design. Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
Desirable Skills:
Familiarity with AC/DC drives and hydraulic systems. Understanding of safety-related control systems and commissioning.
