We are actively recruiting a Controls Engineer to work with one of the North East's most exciting renewable energy businesses.

This is a diverse role in which you will work on developing bespoke machinery, operating in a fast-paced environment as part of a multi-disciplined team of engineers. Your Responsibilities

Specifies and designs control system circuits and documentation. Develops and simulates PLC, HMI/SCADA systems and software. Configures and commissions inverter drives. Checks and approves electrical schematics. Checks calculations and architecture. Conducts functional safety studies. Reviews designs against DNV and/or other standards. Selects and procures control system components. Contributes to sales proposals. Liaises with suppliers for expediting purposes. Your Experience

Experienced in designing and commissioning safety automation and control systems for marine and/or hazardous environments. Understands PLC programming for safety and process applications. On-site commissioning and fault-finding experience. Siemens TIA Portal experience (desirable). Experience with DNV certification (desirable). Experience with SIL (desirable). Package

Lunch and refreshments provided daily at main sites. Bike to Work and Electric Vehicle rental schemes. Annual summer party celebration and Christmas walk, lunch, and festivities. Salary between £55,000 and £70,000 DOE
