Controls Engineer

Controls Engineer Days Beccles, England £40,000 - £60,000 Job Description: As a Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing control software for various programmable control systems, including Siemens S7 Classic and/or TIA, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, and Festo Systems. You will join the dynamic controls department within a well-established and respected control system engineering company based in Beccles. This role requires travelling to customer sites for 7-12 weeks of the year, with potential for worldwide travel. Responsibilities: Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) using software such as Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, Festo, Codesys, and Siemens. Knowledge of setting up Servos, VFDs, Remote I/O, Ethernet, and Profibus networks. Proven electrical, pneumatic, or mechanical experience within the automation industry. Requirements: Proven electrical, pneumatic, or mechanical experience within the automation industry. Relevant vocational training or completion of a recognized apprenticeship in electrical and/or mechanical discipline.
