About this position We are currently working with a company that combines all activities in the field of powertrain and battery assembly with a major focus on the transformation towards electro-mobility. For its customers, the company is a strong and reliable partner that optimizes their value chain and strengthens performance. Job Responsibilities:

To design control circuits for special purpose machines. To create functions list for machine control and populate with relevant cross referencing to controls circuits. To ensure safety both in designs and implementation in house and on customer sites. To provide guidance and advise on a technical level to other departments. To liaise with site teams to ensure smooth interaction between site and controls engineers. To represent the company to our customers. To interface with both in house subcontract staff and exterior design resources. To support other departments within the company including Sales, Purchasing, HR, Finance and Factory. To work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team. To support the controls requirements for both powertrain and car body technology sides of the business. PLC Programming (Siemens S7, S7 TIA Portal, Rockwell). Commissioning and fault finding in house and on customer sites for both PLC and Fluids. Experience Required:

Engineering HNC or above or equivalent years’ experience. Experience of working in controls design. Experience in special purpose design with a knowledge of the latest standards. Good working knowledge of electrical circuit design. Experience of Auto CAD and E-Plan P8. Experience of Siemens S7 / S7 TIA Portal Programming & Commissioning. Pneumatic/hydraulic circuit design knowledge (desirable). Job Info
